Raining (and) Cats
The weather has been quite volatile in these few weeks. Autumn has shoved us it's many faces. It has rained like it has never rained before, it's been sunny, sweet and warm, and right after that, a great storm shooked our houses and flied old and fragile little ladies among the skies. But luckily they managed to land with a pouring rain again.
Here are some pictures of our fine little cat called Muusa (Muse). I've heard her being called "The Aristocat" and "The Diva" behind my back (and straight to my face too). There might be a hint of truth in these opinions. At least I know she has a soul of a lion inside her tiny figure (the fur is thick though!). But the reason she's here today is because she got her own collar with a gold ID plate helping someone to recognise her and contact me if she gets lost.
Did I already say what a fine cat she is? It took six months for her to realise that it actually is possible to get over our very high fence and take a hike. She doesn't like to be out long though, preferebly 35 times a day, three minutes at a time. So for a couple of days I've been very occupied as Her Highness' personal door-keeper. I was afraid she would repel that collar (that is: hate it, scowl accusingly, meow dramatically and finally tear it to pieces), but quite conversely, she actually liked it. Purred when I put it on and was seemingly proud. But well, isn't she always.
Yesterday was a very pretty day. So I guess it's time to post the last summery pictures before winter really hits the place with it's white cover. It should be any day now. So, in the last picture is my son and a sweet little cat of our neighbour that visited us recently. Her name is Iines and she is completely black kitten with a shiny, amber eyes. A real witch's cat she is, and such a cutie!
Cats and rainy days belongs together in some very natural way. If it's raining cats (and dogs), it's an excellent opportunity to snuggle on the couch next to one of those (rained from the sky?) furry Zen-masters and take a lesson of being.
